Dr Abhinav Singh, Additional Professor in Department of Dentistry, at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal has been awarded with the “Dental Public Health Academic Award” for the year 2023 by the “National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS)” India in recognition of his research work and projects carried out during the past five years. His paper which won the award was: “Loneliness and disability as predictors for oral diseases among 2 group of older adults in Central India”, which is published in Journal of American Dental Association, an official publication of American Dental Association.
The academic award caries a scroll, cash award and a commemorative medal and will be presented on 21st April, 2023 at the foundation day of National Academy of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.
National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) India is a nodal agency under the Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which acts as an advisory body to the Government in matters related to National Health Policy, Planning and Central coordinating agency for planning organizing and monitoring continuing medical education program all over the country.
