Prerna, daughter of the doctor couple Vikash and Prema has levelled  allegations of murder of  her parents on her uncle Samir. She levelled  this allegation before media persons outside cremation ghat but has not given anything in writing to police as yet.

However, a letter now available with the media that her father Vikash Hazra had written to police of threat  on his life  due to land dispute  gives impetus to the allegations.

Senior superintendent of police Sanjeev Kumar when asked on this  issue said, " I have  no knowledge of this letter of Dr Vikash". However, if it's fact, they would certainly investigate it, said the SSP.

It's worth mentioning that  Dr Vikash had filed this case at Barwadda police station on September 22 and lost his life under  mysterious conditions within five  months since  had filed the complaint.

Meanwhile, the doctor  couple Vikash and Prema were  cremated amidst the presence of hundreds of admirers at Bastakola cremation chat on Sunday.

Both  his son Ayush and daughter Prerna were present besides other relatives at cremation ghat.

On other   hand a forensic team  from Ranchi led  by deputy  director Ajay Kumar  that had reached  the spot on Saturday initiated  their investigation. They collected several items and took them for forensic tests to Ranchi.

It's worth mentioning  that five persons and a pet  dog were suffocated  to  death when a fire broke out in their residence in the wee hours  of Saturday.

The team is investigating the causes of fire and  death of five persons  following a directive of the state  government.

Earlier,on Saturday evening a second  autopsy was conducted of the doctor couple by a team of doctors under camera following the directive of deputy commissioner.

It's worth mentioning here that Dr  Prema happens to be a close relative of former Prime Minister HD Deogoda.
