The Director Incharge 5-S System of Housekeeping Trophy competition was organized by the Business Excellence Department of BSL at Human Resource Development Center on 19th and 20th May.
28 departments from different departments of the plant participated in the competition. CO&CC, Blast Furnace, CRM-1,2, CRM-3, SMS-New, Traffic, Hot Strip Mill, Heavy Maintenance(Mech), General Maintenance(Mech), Capital Repair(Electrical), ECS, Teams from the departments of ETL, Central Stores, MM, Purchase, Stores, RCL, PEB Bokaro General Hospital etc. teams of the departments presented the works related to 5-S system of housekeeping completed in their respective departments before the members of the jury.
In the inaugural session of the competition, A. Sinha, General Manager-in-Charge (Business Excellence) welcomed everyone and the vote of thanks was extended by Sagarika Sahu, Coordination Manager (Business Excellence).
