In a proactive initiative to bring government services closer to the citizens, the 'Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' program has been successfully implemented in East Singhbhum district. Being organised from November 24 to December 26, camps are being organized in 10 panchayats and 2 municipal bodies across 9 blocks. Deputy Commissioner, Manjunath Bhajantri, personally inspected the camp organized in Beko Panchayat of Jamshedpur block.
During the inspection, Bhajantri visited various departmental stalls set up at the camp and interacted with beneficiaries to ensure the proper implementation of welfare schemes. He emphasized the importance of covering 100% eligible individuals with government welfare schemes. The camp aims to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes to every member of society, especially those in remote and inaccessible areas.
Engaging directly with the common people, Bhajantri communicated that the 'Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' program is designed to address and resolve the issues faced by the public. The initiative focuses on informing citizens about new schemes and guiding them on the correct procedures to avail the associated benefits. During this interaction, the District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner urged citizens to submit applications with necessary documents and contact details for timely updates on their application process.
Bhajantri briefed attendees about the state government's ambitious 'Abua Awas Yojana,' highlighting that dedicated counters have been set up in each camp to assist houseless families in constructing a permanent three-room house and kitchen. Additionally, he informed about the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, offering education loans up to Rs 15 lakh for students in class 10th and 12th.
Assets were distributed among beneficiaries at the Panchayat level camp, with the District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner personally overseeing the distribution. Notably, 08 students received benefits under the Guruji Students Credit Card Scheme, while others benefited from the Social Security Pension Scheme and Savitri Bai Phule Yojana. Environmental awareness was also promoted by distributing fruitful saplings.
Bhajantri directed officials and personnel to provide comprehensive information about the schemes and promptly address the problems of the beneficiaries. He emphasized on scrutinizing and approving eligible applications on the spot, ensuring that no beneficiary faces any issues during the camp.
The 'Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' program continues to exemplify the commitment of the district administration to delivering the benefits of government welfare schemes directly to the citizens, fostering a participatory and inclusive approach to governance.
