: The English Department of Chandra Sekhar College, here held a national seminar on the topic, "The circulation of social energy in the Ramayan and Mahabharat.” The seminar was held in collaboration with the Karanjia Autonomous College.
In the inaugural ceremony of the two- day programme, CS College Principal BipinBehari Jena presided. The resources person
was Prof T Chandramouli of Hyderabad University, Prof Dr Kali KinkarPattanaik of Khalikote University, Prof Bijay Kumar Danta of Tejpur University, Assam and Dr AbaniKanta Dash from Karanjia Autonomous College. The guests highlighted how the doctrine and values of the Ramayan and Mahabharat influenced the social values.
Swadhin Kumar Singh, HOD, English Department, CS College, Champua, introduced the guests. A souvenir was unveiled on the occasion. The programme was coordinated by RajendraKar, Prasanta Nanda, Champeswar Mishra, PoonamHarro, RashmiRekhaBehera, Sachin Kulu and LiziBabu.
