Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday arrested a couple and seized 147.86 grams of heroin valued at Rs 7.40 lakh in Bhilai city.
Durg Superintendent of Police Shalabh Kumar Sinha told The Pioneer that Nutan Singh and her husband Dalbeer Singh have been taken into custody.
The couple hail from Punjab and presently reside in Bhilai.
The police caught the woman from her residence in Prem Nagar area when she was looking for customers to sell the drugs.
She told the police that her husband brought the consignment from Punjab.
