CM gifts Rs 212.91 Cr schemes, distributes assets worth Rs 298. Cr in Sahibganj

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 891 schemes over Rs 212.91 crore 91 in Sahibganj district. In this, 746 schemes worth Rs 62 crore 97 lakh were inaugurated and the foundation stone of 145 schemes worth Rs 149 crore 94 lakh 39 thousand 600 was laid. At the same time, assets worth Rs 298 crore 27 lakh 18 thousand 121 were also distributed among 3 lakh 97 thousand 330 beneficiaries.

The CM, on the occasion inaugurated the third phase of "Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" by paying tribute to the immortal brave martyrs Sido-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav and the brave women Phulo-Jhano. Addressing the function organized on this occasion in Barhait, Sahibganj, he said that the officers will go to people’s doorstep with a bundle of various welfare schemes and will give them their rights with full respect.

The CM said that the last two phases of the Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapki Dwar campaign were quite successful. During this period, lakhs of applications were received, which were disposed of and people were connected to the government schemes. After the success of these two campaigns, our government decided to start it again. Under this, applications will be taken from people by organizing camps in all the Panchayats of the state from 24th November to 26th December. Their problems will be solved and they will be given benefits of government schemes.

The CM said that every application received in the camps organized under this campaign will be registered and the concerned applicants will be informed about it by sending a message on their mobile numbers. Apart from this, information about the action taken on the applications will also be given. Every application will be processed and the applicant's problems will be resolved. In this camp, the process of making all other necessary certificates including caste and residential certificate will also be completed.

Soren said that the government is committed to the overall development of the state. The work of building electricity, water, roads, flowers, culverts and schools and colleges is going on at a fast pace in every area of the state. Health facilities are being improved in hospitals. Our effort is to put Jharkhand in the category of developed states.

The CM said that the government is very sensitive on the employment front. Youth are being given jobs on a large scale in government and private sectors. At the same time, through the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, it is providing financial assistance to the youth desirous of employment. The government is working in a planned manner so that the youth can stand on their own feet.

Soren said- Now the dream of tribal and Dalit minority students of the state to get higher education abroad is coming true. Our government is giving 100 per cent scholarship to these students for higher education abroad. On the other hand, Guruji Credit Card scheme is working to help the needy students here to pursue courses like medical, engineering and law. Apart from this, Schools of Excellence have been opened to provide quality education to children. Resources are being made available to all government schools. Along with renovating all the hostels, the government will also make arrangements for food grains and kitchen and security for the students living here.

The CM said that the plan has been made keeping in mind the needs of every class and section. Social security pension is being given to all the elderly, disabled and widows through the Universal Pension Scheme. Many schemes are running for farmers, cattle herders and labourers including Birsa Green Village Scheme, Chief Minister Pashudhan Yojana and Phulo Jhano Water Conservation Scheme. Now the government will also provide insurance to the animals received by the beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana.

The CM said that the relationship of tribals with water, forest and land is very old. But, there were always attempts to deprive them of this right. Our government has started the Abua Veer Dishom Scheme. Through this scheme, forest rights pattas are being given to the tribals. Our government always stands with the tribals and indigenous people.

On this occasion, the important welfare schemes with which the beneficiaries were linked included 1152 of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, 6812 of PM Awas Yojana, 2034 of Birsa Irrigation Well Promotion Scheme, 6978 of Cycle Distribution Scheme, 137293 of various pension schemes, Pre Matric Scholarship. There are 115962 beneficiaries of the scheme, 1692 of KCC and 27976 beneficiaries of Sona Sobran Dhoti Saree Scheme. Apart from this, beneficiaries were added to many other schemes including Abua Awas Yojana, Abua Veer Dishom Yojana, Chief Minister Livestock Scheme and Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme.

On this occasion, Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam and Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta, MP Vijay Hansda, District Council President Monica Kisku, former Minister Hemlal Murmu, Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Commissioner of Santhal Pargana Division Lalchand Dadel and other officials including Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Sahibganj district were present.
