Enthusiastic cricket fans stood in a long queue from early Tuesday to get tickets for a T-20 cricket match to be played between India and Australia on December 1 evening here. The match will be organized at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur.
The cricket fans, mainly college students, who reached from Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg-Bhilai and other cities, gathered to buy the tickets from four counters, two of them for students.
The tickets are available for youngsters at Rs 1,000 in the student quota. Also there are tickets between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000 for the upper gallery. The Indian and Australian Cricket teams will arrive on November 29 and will practice the next day.
