Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had said on May 2 that this step will be taken.
Under the loan scheme of Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh, women groups who have taken a loan for the first time and have paid off the loan will now be eligible for a maximum loan of Rs. 6 lakhs instead of Rs. 4 lakhs.
Additionally, the eligibility conditions under the scheme have been relaxed.
