Arora pays tributes to Sher-e-Punjab during state-level function at Badrukhan

 

Badrukhan: To commemorate the 184th death anniversary of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Punjab Government on Thursday organized a state-level function at his maternal village Badrukhan. Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, who was here to preside over the function, offered floral tributes to the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, which was recently installed by the Punjab government at Badrukhan. Arora, addressing a large gathering, said that following Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s footsteps, AAP Government and its officers are themselves reaching the people in the villages to minimize their hardships and making concerted efforts to make the state a ‘Rangla Punjab’.

 

Punjab bags 3rd position in Pedigree Selection Scheme of Nili Ravi across India

 

Chandigarh: Punjab has secured third position in Pedigree Selection Scheme of Nili Ravi Breed across the country. Informing this, the state Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian said that the state has undertook the Nili Ravi Pedigree Selection project to promote and preserve indigenous Nili Ravi breed in the state. He added that Punjab has also clinched fifth position in Progeny Testing Scheme in Murrah breed of buffalo and the sixth position in the Progeny Testing Scheme of Sahiwal Cows. “Punjab has already accomplished the target in Murrah Progeny Testing Scheme, which was supposed to be completed in 2024,” he added.

 

Chandigarh Design Institute recognized at EduSpark Awards 2023

 

Chandigarh: Chandigarh-based SXILL (School of Experience Illusion and Life Learnings) was awarded for its ‘contribution to AVGC Education’ alongside about 20 other illustrious winners of the Award. SXILL, founded by technocrat Neelu Kapoor and Worldskills IDT Expert Prof Vineet Raj Kapoor, is the only institute in the Tricity to feature in the award list. SXILL was Awarded the ‘Most Innovative Curriculum Award; for 2023 by an illustrious team lead by Dr Anil Sahastrabuddhe, ex-AICTE chairman and current NETF (National Education Technology Forum) chairman constituted by Government of India.
