CM APPOINTS WOMEN COMMISSION MEMBERS
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Nuveen Patnaik on Friday appointed six members of the State Commission of Women (SCW). The members are SwarnalataSamal of Binjharpur, SujataDigal of Brajarajnagar, SwagatikaMohanty of Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar, BijayaBarwa of Talsara, Babita Swain of Jagatsinghpur. Women and Child Development Department Additional Bithica Swain was appointed as official member.
UTKAL SAMMILANI PAYS TRIBUTES TO MADHUBABU
Bhubaneswar: The UtkalSammilani observed the 175th birth anniversary of UtkalgauravMadhusudan Das by paying floral tributes to his statue near the Raj Bhavan here on Friday. At a function presided over by UtkalSammilani central committee president Basant Kumar Tripathy and attended by secretaryRadhanathPraharaj, the speakers recalled Madhubabu’s contributions. They demanded that Madhubabu be honoured with Bharat Ratha posthumously. DrBanambarParida, Prof KashinathRath, SatyajitNayak, TrinathSamantray, Tapas Ranjan Mishra, Pathani Jena, Jugal Kishore Nayak, SoubhagyaMahaptra, KalindiNayak, Susant Kumar Padhi were present.

PANDA CANCER HOSP LAUNCHES PRIDE AND PRIVILEGE CARD
Bhubaneswar/ Cuttack: The HCG Panda Cancer Hospital has taken a step towards providing equitable healthcare access and cancer care services to all individuals regardless of their gender identity. The hospital extended its services to the transgender community in Odisha by announcing the launch of the HCG Pride and Privilege Card in Cuttack.
Tehsildar felicitated by Rayagada DM
Paralakhemundi: The Tehsildar of Gunupur in Rayagada district has managed to prepare land records of every school in his area. Though the Government had opened schools in most areas, most of them did not have land records. But TehsildarSarat Chandra Nayak managed to prepare the land records of every school with the help of other staffs of the tehsil. Rayagada Collector Swadhwa SinghDev has felicitated Nayak for the feat.
