On the International Day against Drugs, the Balanga College organised an awareness programme to prevent and stop consume drugs by young mass.
College Principal Pravat Kumar Sahoo, who was chief guest of the programme, said that due to consuming drugs by young mass various disturbances are created in the society. So, all should try to make the society drugs-free society.
Among others, Lecturer Manas Ranjan Mohanty discussed about the bad impact of drugs on the society. History Lecturer Balachadra Rath and Education Dept. Head Dr Prados Kumar Pati attended as guests of honour.
Students Anisha Dash, Santosh Kumar Behera, Anupama Behera were felicitated for their best talks on a drugs-free India. Economics Dept. Head Harmohan Mohanty conducted the programme. Lecturers Mithun Mallick, Prasanta Mishra and Brajabandhu Pradhan coordinated the event.
