In Adampur Khanti garbage site, the people of the surrounding villages are disturbed because of the smell due to the carcasses of animals being thrown in the open. A few days ago many dead bodies were found lying in the open.
Adampur Khanti is about 18 kilometers away from the city. Other villages including Adampur are connected to it. Corporation throws garbage here. Along with the stench of garbage, many times the dead bodies of animals are also thrown in the open. Because of this, the villagers have to worry because of the stench. Recently many carcasses of dead animals were found lying on this garbage mountain. These included carcasses of cattle. Therefore, efforts have been made to start the Animal Incinerator Plant soon.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani said that in Adampur Khanti, dead bodies of animals were buried in pits. Despite this, they were not able to dispose properly. That's why an animal incinerator plant has been set up at a cost of Rs 4 crores. It can burn animal carcasses up to 500 kg per hour. Only ashes will be left in it. This will ensure cleanliness and safe disposal. This plant runs on either LPG or CNG. It will be started with LPG, later will be shifted to CNG, as CNG plant starts in Khanti.
