On the secret information received from CID Ranchi, Hazaribag police have arrested seven cyber criminals from two different spots. Police have seized 11 mobiles, 10 fraud mobile sim cash 6045 and two motorcycles from them. Police recovered different tools also.
SDPO Hazaribag Mahesh Prajapati said in a press conference that after receiving a tip off Hazaribag SP Manoj Ratan Chothey formed two different teams.
The first team formed under the leadership of SDPO along with police officers reached Shashtri Nagar of Kumhar Toli. The team came to know that some doubtful youths are staying in the house of Rajendra Prasad.
As the boys saw the police team they tried to run away from there. The team members had caught them and seized all the items from their room. They have confessed that in the light of students we were doing the work of cybercrime in the district.
The SDPO further said that the second team was formed under the leadership of Gorhar officer-in- charge. The Gorhar police raided the suspected places and arrested four cyber criminals named Babloo Kumar, Sanjay Mondal, Rajesh Prasad and Rajesh Mondal.
The sadar police arrested the three persons from Kumhar tolli but has not disclosed the name of cybercriminal. All the arrested criminals have been sent to jail.
The SDPO said that they have arrested 21 cyber criminals from the district in the last three days. He said that police raids will continue till the criminals are sent to jail.
