The Trivanikant Thakur Literature honour programme was organized in the DVC seminar hall on Tuesday. The programme was presided by former head of Vinoba Bhave University Shambhu Badal. Kumar Manish Arvind CCF of Ranchi was present as the Chief Guest and former registrar Bansidhar Rukhaiyar as distinguished guest in the programme. This felicitation programme was organized to felicitate persons, who have contributed in the uplift of literature and journalism with their efforts.

The secretary of the trust Rakesh Thakur said in his speech that this felicitation programme is being organised on the death anniversary of Manikant Thakur. We have honoured more than 20 persons in the field of literature and journalism.

This year we have decided to honour renowned name in Mathili literature Vijay Shankar Mallick Sudhpati, in Hindi Binod Kuamr Raj Vidrohi and in the field of journalism Dr. Shalesh Sharma.

He further said that the persons who have received the award are Shiv Dayal Singh, Shambu Badan, Bharat Yayavar, Ratan Verma, Subodh Singh Shivgeet, Kumar Manish Arvind, Vidhyanath Jha, Panchnand Mishra, Siyaram Jha, Budhi Nath Jha, Girjanand Jha, Krishan Mohan and others.

He said that we have started to give the award for the contribution in the field of journalism from 2022. Last year this award was given to Abhijeet Sen. The management committee of the trust have already passed all names in the general body meeting of the trust.

All the three persons were felicitated by the trust with memento, shawl and appreciation certificate. Rekha Jha sung Bhakti Song on the occasion. The anchors of the programme were Hitnath Jha and Manoj Kumar Sinha.

Shambu Badal, Kumar Manish Arvind and Banshidhar Rukhaiyar delivered their speech in the programme.
