Chhattisgarh Police on Thursday arrested 14 persons here for operating an online betting racket via Mahadev App.
All accused are residents of Raipur city, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Abhishek Maheshwari said.
After arrest, they confessed to borrowing bank accounts from their acquaintances and using them in the betting racket.
The police seized six bank passbooks, 13 ATM cards, two mobile phones and Rs 3,000 cash from them. A court sent them to prison.
