Veteran RSS leader passes away after prolonged illness

Veteran RSS leader Madan Das Devi passed away on Monday after a prolonged illness in a hospital in Bengaluru. He was 81

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, Sahasarakaryavah Mukunda CR, Former Chief Ministers BS Yeddyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya, VHP National Functionary Sthanumalayan, several others, hundreds of Karyakartas paid their tributes to Madan Das Devi.

Devi was admitted to Rashtrotthan Hospital and breathed  his last this morning. His last rites will be held in Pune. According to RSS, his mortal remains will be kept at RSS headquarters, Keshava Kripa.

Hailing rom Maharashtra, Devi, who had served as the joint secretary of RSS, was instrumental in developing leadership skills among top BJP and RSS leaders. Along with being the RSS joint general secretary, he was also the organisation secretary of the outfit’s student wing, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
