The Director (Commercial) of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) reviewed the progress of billing work in Urban Electricity Distribution Division (UEDD) Chetmadi. He also checked the beat-wise progress of billing work, distribution of electricity bills to the customers etc. During his inspection, the Director (Commercial) directed the Discom Head of billing company Manoj Tripathi to ask the meter readers to provide beat-wise bills under the concerned scheme. He also instructed the same billing company officer to take action against the meter readers involved in providing wrong electricity bills to the customers.
Besides, the Director (Commercial) also checked the quality of door-to-door billing work. He interacted with the power consumers of Indra Nagar Colony and listened to their complaints and grievances relating to power bills. He also encouraged them to get their power related details through mobile phones under the ‘Phone Ghumao Abhiyan’. He also instructed the power department officers to make the ‘Phone Ghumao Abhiyan’ a success and make their sincere efforts to achieve the monthly target of power revenue realisation during September.
During the inspection, the Director (Commercial) was accompanied by Chief Engineer (Commercial) Sanjay Verma, executive engineers Arun Yadav and Ashok Sharma, SDO Sunil Kumar and many others.
