A day after non-migrant Kashmiri pandit Sanjay Sharma was killed in cold blood by the unidentified terrorists, his last rites were performed in his native village of Achan in the South Kashmir district of Pulwama on Monday.
A large number of local villagers assembled at the residence of Sanjay Sharma also lent a helping hand to the family and facilitated last rites of their close door neighbour.
Meanwhile, politicians including PDP Chief and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and J&k unit BJP Chief Ravinder Raina visited his residence to console the aggrieved family members.
In Jammu, the Prime Minister’s package employees reiterated their demand for relocation outside the valley, saying their worst fears have come true with the latest killing of a community member in Pulwama.
