CM Yogi Adityanath reached Prayagraj from Mirzapur and addressed the ‘Anusuchit Jati Mahasammelan’ in Soraon.
Addressing the gathering, the CM said that Scheduled Caste people did not get respect in the governments before 2017. But ever since the double engine government has been formed, the respect and self-respect of the Scheduled Caste brothers and sisters has increased. In the double engine government, work has been done to increase the prestige of the architect of the Constitution, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 424 development projects worth Rs 3,357 crore in Prayagraj. He also gave certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes. CM laid the foundation stone of 350 projects worth about Rs 3,000 crore.
Apart from this, 74 projects worth about Rs 274 crore were also inaugurated. Yogi performed ‘annaprashan’ on the stage by feeding ‘kheer’ to a six-month old Kriti, daughter of Arjun Saroj, a Scheduled Caste resident of Rampur Malhua village of Soraon. Yogi called Kriti on the stage and applied ‘tilak’ and fed her kheer.
HANUMAN STATUE: A 108-feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman, worshipped as a major deity here will be built in Arail’s Triveni Pushp on the banks of Yamuna before Mahakumbh 2025. Triveni Pushp has been handed over on lease for 30 years to Haridwar’s Parmarth Niketan, which will take care of the construction of this statue and several other structures and amenities.
