A 60-year-old woman died after her saree got stuck in bike and she was strangled to death near Nepania village in the night on Saturday she was on her way to farm house with her son; Eithkhedi police have started an investigation.
Injured woman was taken to hospital where she was declared dead. The deceased identified as Dayavanti Sharma died while on her way to Nepania. She was on the bike with her son and granddaughter, the two survived the accident.
In the night on Saturday Dayavanti along with son and granddaughter were on their way to Nepania while her husband and daughter in law were on a bus to the same village.
Her husband Kanhaiyalal Sharma retired from ITI two months ago and they were on their way to a farm house in Nepania.
On their way, Dayavanti got stuck in the bike tyre which strangulated her and the bike fell. The bike skid for some distance injuring the three on the bike and later it resulted in the death of Dayavanti.
