The students of class 10 and 12 took a sigh of relief after the results were announced.
Pragati Mittal topped science stream in 12th with with 98.8% marks and Divyata Patel from Shajapur score 98.2 % topped in Biology science stream. Besides, Suchita Pandey and Nancy Dubey topped in 10th.
The girls outshined in the State Board results. The results of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) of class 10 and 12 were announced on Friday.
A total of 3,48,219 students passed MP Board 10th with first division. While announcing the results on Friday the State Education Minister said that Madhya Pradesh's Damoh has topped with 83.80 percent among the districts. Further, Alirajpur district, with an 82.44 overall pass percentage, has stood second this year.
This year 18 lakh students have registered themselves for MPBSE Class 10, 12 examination in the state. The exams for Class 10, 12 were conducted from February 28 to March 20, 2022 in the state at various exam centres across all districts.
In high secondary results, Pragati Mittal topped science stream with with 98.8% marks and Divyata Patel from Shajapur score 98.2 topped in Biology science stream. Kushboo Shivhare from Morena of commerce stream and Ishita Dubey from Sagar of arts stream topped in their streams by scoring 96%.
Meanwhile, MPBSE has revised the marking scheme for Class 10, 12 board exams this year. As per the revised marking scheme, 80 marks have been allotted for the theory subjects and the remaining 20 marks are for practical and project works for both Class 10 and Class 12.
