Railway Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) VK Tripathi on Monday inspected the ongoing railway developmental works in Paradip and took stock of various activities of in connection with traffic facilities and hassle free train operations.
He also discussed on various issues with the authorities of Paradip Port Trust (PPT) and other Stake holders like Jindal Steel, PPL, IOCL, IFFCO, Mittal Steels, etc., and assured to provide all kinds of support in the field of transportation and traffic facilities.
While reviewing the railways operations at the East Coast Railway headquarters here with the General Manager (In Charge) Sharad Kumar Srivastav, Khurda Road Divisional Railway Manager Rinkesh Ray and other Principal Heads of the Departments of ECoR, Tripathi advised officials to increase in speed of passenger trains.
Apart from this, he stressed on early completion of the ongoing projects and increase in revenue.
