In the biggest ever haul of the marijuana Palamu police in the intervening night on September 28 /29 seized 320 kgs on the NH 75.
SDPO Surjit Kumar said police have arrested the driver and apprentice of the truck.
The two arrested belong to Odisha. They have been identified as Devender (driver)and Manoj Sethi apprentice.
The marijuana consignment was coming by road from Sambalpur in Orissa. It was a precise tip off about marijuana and the police team lead by SDPO Surjit Kumar acted quite flawlessly.
The SDPO said there was a secret box in the truck where there were containers for hiding these banned narcotic marijuana. Satbarwa police have registered the case.
