Paradise to help 111 Sr citizens for Cataract surgery

Under the social works being undertaken by members of Paradise Society, necessary medical examination facilities and cataract surgery will be provided to such needy (111 Nos.) residents of Rukka and Angara villages. To implement this project on the ground, the society will identify and involve those elderly people with the help of Shalini Hospital. The estimated total project cost is Rs 2.25 Lakh, out of which a lump sum voluntary contribution of Rs 20,000 has been given Kanak Sewa Nyas. Cataract cases are increasing rapidly in villages. The figures that came before the Health Department in screening including public hearing were shocking. From one gram panchayat, 3 to 10 cases were coming in front of cataract. In such a situation, apart from bringing patients for operation, they will also spread awareness to prevent cataract in the villages. Due to lack of awareness in the villages and weak economic condition of many people, they are unable to get the operation done. Due to this, the eyes of many people have also gone. In all these, the identification of cataract patients will start. For membership of our society please contact on mobile number 9431106281 (Hony President), 9431114266 (Hony Secretary), 9835124444 (Hony Treasurer).
