Miscreants vandalize Ganesha idols

Chhattisgarh Police have booked unidentified           persons for vandalizing around 150 idols of Lord Ganesha kept for sale at a roadside market here for Ganesh Chaturthi festival, police said on Tuesday.

The incident took place near Amapara area early on Monday, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Sukhnandan Rathore said.

The 150 idols were kept at three-four roadside stalls. The stall owners' loss is             estimated at Rs 2 lakh, Rathore said.
