Two kidnapping cases have been registered in Jagatsinghpur police station.
Reports said that a 16-year-old girl from Deuli Grameswar village had been to Gandhi Chhak market here for mobile repairing but did not return home at night. Her family members searched for her at several places but in vain. Later, they lodged an FIR in Jagatsinghpur police station.
In a similar kidnapping incident in Tarikunda village, eight km from here, unidentified miscreants on Sunday evening abducted a minor Muslim girl when she was with her mother in Tarikunda Bazar. The abductors reached the spot in a four-wheeler and overpowered the girl after separating her from her mother. They forcibly took her into a Bolero jeep and fled from the spot. After the incident victim girl’s mother lodged an FIR.
