Annakoot Mahotsav and Diwali Milan function of Maheshwari Samaj Bhopal were organized by Bhopal District Maheshwari Sabha. District President Shishir Maheshwari said that on this occasion, traditionally after Govardhan Puja at dusk, special aarti was performed by offering Chhappan Bhog Prasad to Laddu Gopal ji.
This special Bhog Prasadi was prepared by the women of fifty six different Maheshwari families of the society.
On this occasion, a large number of devotees attended the Annakoot festival and after having darshan of God, took the Mahaprasadi of Chhappan Bhog. Specially on this occasion, Madhya Pradesh's Cabinet Minister Vishwas Sarang, State Assembly Minister Deepak Chandak, India Year Working Committee member Laxmendra Maheshwari were present.
In this program of Annakoot, women and men of most Maheshwari families of Bhopal district participated in this carnival in traditional clothes. As a special highlight of the program, oath of cleanliness and wet and dry waste was administered to all Maheshwari families by Minister Vishwas Sarang.
Along with this, oath was also taken by all Maheshwari families to boycott one time use plastic. At the end of the program, District President Shishir Maheshwari expressed his gratitude to all the attendees.
