Naxalite Suresh Singh Munda to surrender today
Rs 10 lakh reward Naxalite Suresh Singh Munda and his associates two lakh reward Naxalite Lodro Lohar will surrender before the police on Monday. Suresh Singh Munda is a resident of Barahatu under Bundu police station of Ranchi. There are more than 50 cases registered against Suresh Singh Munda, while about 20 cases are registered against Lodro. The police is interrogating both of them by keeping them at a secret place. The police was preparing to reach the reward of one crore Naxalite Anal Da through Suresh Singh Munda and Lodro.
Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra held free medical camp
Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, Ranchi organised 278th free medical camp in Champi village of Karra block of Khunti district. The City Committee Chief, Sajjan Sarraf said that the main objective of the committee is to provide medical facilities to the forest dwellers and connect them with the mainstream of the society so that a healthy India can be built. Vice President, Om Prakash Aggarwal, General Secretary, Niranjan Sarraf and Media in-charge Nirmal Budhia were present on the occasion. Financial support for this camp was received from Abhay Kumar and Ajay Kumar Chhabra.
Congress membership drive going on extensively
The membership drive of the Congress is being run extensively in the State by the leaders and workers of the party. For this purpose, a special camp was organized in the party's Godda district office on Sunday under the leadership of District President, Munnam Sanjay as per the instructions of All India Congress Committee and State Congress Committee. In this, along with senior party leaders, office bearers and workers, former minister and senior leader Krishnanand Jha and Jharkhand government minister Badal Patralekh, former MP Furkan Ansari also became members by cutting the receipt of the party.
City poets felicitated in Jabalpur
The international poetry festival and felicitation ceremony was organized at Sanskardhani Jabalpur by All India Prasang Manch. The function was held at the martyrs memorial theater in which the chief guest, was senior litterateur Dr. Rajkumar Tiwari 'Sumitra' and it was presided by litterateur Acharya Bhagwat Dubey. In the ceremony, 101 poets from the city, state and country recited poetry. Five poets from Ranchi, Jharkhand, Manjula Sharan, Rinku Banerjee 'Madhu', Kalyani Jha 'Kanak', Kavita Rani Singh and Dr. Pampa Sen Vishwas gave their best presentations. These five poets of Jharkhand were honored by Prof. Kapil Dev Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. The founder and national president of the institution, Vinod Nayan, welcomed all the poets and congratulated them and gave their best wishes.
