Four-year-old girl electrocuted

Four-year-old girl was electrocuted in the Kolar Road area. While playing, the girl grabbed the water heating rod (Emerson rod). She fainted due to severe electric shock. The neighbors took her to the hospital where she died during treatment.

According to Kolar police, Kailash Yadav, who lives in 110 Quarter Ganesh Nagar, is a vegetable seller. At around 10 am on Tuesday, his four-year-old daughter Radhika was playing with  at the house of Sanjay Namdev, who lives in the neighborhood. Bucket filled with water was kept with an immersion rod for heating water in a room of Sanjay's house. While playing the girl went into the room and grabbed the Emerson rod. She fell down due to the shock. The family took Radhika to the hospital.

Kailash Yadav told that Radhika was his elder daughter. They have a two-year-old daughter, Anshika. Kailash told that Sanjay's house is 10 houses ahead of his house. Radhika goes to Sanjay's house every day to play with his son.

On Tuesday too she had gone to play in the morning. Kailash told that when the incident happened with the daughter, during that time when he had gone to sell vegetables. When he returned home at around 11 pm, he came to know that the girl had died.
