Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested four persons and seized 630 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 1.26 crore from two separate places in Mahasamund district.
Mahasamund Additional Superintendent of Police Megha Tmbhurkar told The Pioneer that Virendra Sethi (32), Sheikh Aziz (30), Akhtar Khan (26) and Abhimanyu Dadsena (25), all from Odisha, were taken into custody.
Sheikh and Khan were nabbed while intercepting a rotten mango laden truck near a village following a tip about the contraband being transported, she said.
