Two digital India beneficiaries—Bahadur Singh of Tarhassi block and Chandrasekhar Kumar of Nilamber Pitamberpur block along with the DIO (district informatics officer)  Ranvir Singh have reached Gandhinagar in Gujarat to participate at PM's programme at Gandhinagar on digital India week beginning July 4.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Digital India Week 2022 in Gandhinagar in Gujarat tomorrow. During the programme, he will launch multiple digital initiatives aimed at enhancing the accessibility of technology, streamlining service delivery to ensure ease of living and giving a boost to startups. The theme for Digital India Week is Catalyzing New India’s Techade.

DIO Ranvir Singh said that they reached Gandhinagar in Garib Rath and Rajdhani express trains.

Bahadur Singh is a digital India beneficiary of the PM Awas Yojna Gramin while Chandrasekhar Kumar is a digital India beneficiary of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Ranvir Singh said it is a great task to carry beneficiaries as these two have never any experience of undertaking such a long distance journey.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to address the digital India week celebration at Gandhinagar on July 4.

On the first day of the inauguration there will be 100 beneficiaries drawn from all over the country.

Ranvir Singh said beneficiaries of Ranchi and Jamshedpur districts in Jharkhand have also moved for this Gandhinagar digital India week. This programme has been sponsored by the ministry of electronics and information technology government of India. It is like rubbing shoulders with the tech start ups.
