Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday met the six students of Chhattisgarh who returned to India from Ukraine at the Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister was on a visit to Delhi before leaving for Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh to campaign for Congress candidates in assembly elections.
Chhattisgarh has made arrangements for the arriving students and citizens from Ukraine at the Chhattisgarh Sadan.
Baghel inquired from the students about their wellbeing. He assured them of their safe return to their homes.
He said the Government of Chhattisgarh was making all efforts for the safe return of the students and citizens from Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion.
The state government will bear the entire cost of the return of the students and citizens coming from different cities of Ukraine including their personal expenses.
The six students who had gone for medical studies in Ukraine returned to New Delhi by Air India flight.
