Burglars decamp with autoparts

Burglars targeted an auto mobile parts shop near Katju hospital on Sunday and decamped with goods and Rs 25000 cash; TT Nagar police have started investigation.

According to the police, the victim, Bhupendra Babani was informed by his neighbor that shutter of his shop was broken in the early morning hours and when he reached goods were found burgled.

A complaint was lodged by the victim with the TT Nagar police and in his complaint he stated that he left shop after closing the night on Friday and his neighbor shopkeeper informed regarding burglary in the shop and on the receipt he rushed to the shop where he found that tyres of scooter, engine oil and Rs 25000 cash were  burgled.

The total loss was around Rs 1 lakh. The police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Footages of installed CCTV cameras would be searched during the further investigation to establish the identity of the miscreants.

Meanwhile miscreants targeted a house at Mahaveer Colony under Chola Mandir police station area and escaped with goods worth over Rs 80000, police have started investigation.

The victim Om Nayak was not present at the house when the burglars broke into the house and escaped with LED, fan, a motorbike worth Rs 80000.

Police registered case of burglary and started search for accused.
