Keeping timely redressal of the issues faced by women as a top priority, the Yogi government put an end to the woes of Sangeeta Solanki of Bulandshahr on Tuesday. Within 48 hours of her complaint to the CM Office, Sangeeta was a satisfied person and thanked the state government’s redressal system profusely.
With the prompt intervention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his directives to Meerut district administration, the complaint of Sangeeta Solanki was not only attended to but also was resolved. Sangeeta Solanki had been selected as a lecturer by Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board in 2021 and she was allotted Bhagirathi Arya Kanya Inter College, Lal Kurti Cantt, Meerut. However, Sangeeta was denied official joining by the Manager of the institution and was asked to submit her three-month salary.
Looking for a solution to her problem, a distressed Sangeeta called up the Chief Minister’s Office on Sunday, after which, the Chief Minister directly intervened. He not only ensured that her issue was taken cognisance of but was redressed in less than 48 hours. As per Yogi's directives, the Meerut administration ensured that Sangeeta was made to join her post on Tuesday.
Ever since Yogi Adityanath took over the reins of Uttar Pradesh as Chief Minister, the safety, security, empowerment, upliftment and all-round welfare of women have been one among the top priorities of the UP government. In his second term, Yogi has not only promised to strengthen his vision of empowering women and girls, but also ensure that their struggles were timely addressed.
