Bairagarh police have booked a fraudster for duping to the tune of Rs 70000; victim who is posted with 3 EME centre was cheated in the name of providing lottery money of Rs 25 lakh and money was transferred after victim was assured of getting KBC lottery of Rs 25 lakh.
The victim Sanjay Kumar lodged complaint against unidentified fraudster who collected Rs 70000 from the victim for providing lottery of Rs 25 lakh but he never received money.
Victim lodged complaint with the cyber cell regarding the fraud and after completing investigation Bairagarh police registered case on Friday.
The victim works with Army and is posted with 3 EME centre Bairagarh, few days ago he received call regarding winning of KBC lottery price of Rs 25 lakh and was trapped by the fraudsters.
The accused asked money for facilitating and for different tax deductions from the victim’s account and victim provided money in account provided by the accused, he transferred Rs 70000.
The mobile number which was used in the crime went switched off which raised suspicion and after victim sensed the fraud. The victim lodged complaint with the police. After the preliminary investigation police have registered case under sections 419, 420, 467, 471 and 120 B of the IPC and started investigation.
