Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar said that the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Cabinet colleagues were making baseless allegations in the Assembly against the Congress to hide the corruption and malpractices of their Government. Congress Delhi unit president’s remarks came after the Delhi CM in the Assembly said that the corrupt should be treated as “traitors”. Kumar said that almost 80 per cent of his MLAs and Ministers come under the category “traitors” and they should be put behind the bars but instead they are being protected by the government.Some of the leaders of AAP including Municipal Councillor Geeta Rawat, who was recently caught red-handed by the CBI while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a house owner, he said, adding that it was shocking that she was using the office of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for her corrupt activities and she is still with the party.
Meanwhile, talking about the education sector in the city, Delhi Congress vice president Jai Kishan said on Wednesday that a pragmatic approach by the Delhi government needed to get the education sector back on track which was impacted severely due to Covid in the last two years.
Jai Kishan was speaking at the annual function of RD. International School Rohini on Wednesday. Advocate Surender Chauhan, Rahul Dhaka, Varun Dhaka, Yogita Varuna Dhaka, Deepika Jain among other dignitaries present on the occasion.
