As many as 274 new Lecturers joined State Non-Government Aided Degree Colleges in an induction programme here on Tuesday, in which Chief Minister Naveen Patniak joined on virtual platform.
Out of these Lecturers, 156 are in English, 117 in Political Science and one in Mathematics. The induction programme was organised at the State convention centre in Lokasewa Bhawan.
In another programme, 35 new Assistant Environmental Engineers and Assistant Environmental Scientists joined the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB). Thirteen of them are Environmental Engineers and 22 Environmental Scientists.
