The State on Tuesday reported 232 new Covid-19 cases in 23 districts and the State pool, increasing the total tally to 13,27,382.
Among the newly-infected were 38 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 221 new Covid cases and two deaths on Monday.
Out of the new cases, 136 were reported from quarantine and 96 local contacts.
Khordha district reported the maximum 61 new cases followed by Sundargarh with 40, Cuttack 30, Sambalpur 12 and Kalahandi 10.
Besides, 15 cases were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 1,982.
Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the disease in Kandhamal district, taking the total death toll to 9,175 in the State.
So far, 13,16,172 persons have recovered from the disease in the State.
