Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Sports & Youth Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur on Tuesday slammed the Arvind Kejriwal Government as “corrupt” and “shameless” and asked people to repose faith in the BJP candidates in the forthcoming MCD polls. Thakur held public meetings in Ward No. 202 Preet Vihar, 208 Anarkali, 207 Vishwas Nagar, 242 Dayalpur and 230 Bhajanpura. Thakur said Kejriwal has written an unforgettable chapter in the politics of lies and deceit during his seven years in office.
“Arvind Kejriwal used to say that he will make Delhi like London. It seems that he is making everything in jail only. He leads a corrupt and shameless regime.
As soon as the AAP formed the Government in Punjab, their Health Minister had to resign on charges of corruption. Delhi's Health Minister has been in jail for the last six months. From mineral water to massage, all 5-star facilities are available in jail for him. This can happen only in Kejriwal's model.
AAP Ministers do corruption and Kejriwal gives them certificates of integrity. This is the Delhi model of Kejriwal,” the Minister said.
Claiming that the AAP Government has become synonymous with anarchy, Thakur said it has three friends, alcohol, scams and corruption.
“Arvind Kejriwal is Mungeri Lal who is dreaming of winning MCD elections. But the sensible people of Delhi will not fall prey to his false claims and hollow promises.” he said, adding, “AAP made tall claims in UP and Uttarakhand also. But what happened? Their deposits were forfeited. In UP, out of 403 seats, deposits could not be saved in even a single seat. In Uttarakhand also the account did not open.”
