Enraged over dispute at Karond Mandi a 23-year-old youth was attacked by four miscreants with sharp-edged weapons at Chhawani under Kotwali police station police station area on Monday evening.
Police said that a youth was rushed to hospital after he was attacked by four armed miscreant while on his way back home. The injured was identified as Nadeem Khan who was attacked by Kalu and his aides with sharp edged weapons.
In his complaint, the victim told the police that he had a fight with Kallu at the mandi and to settle score Kalu along with his aides waylaid and attacked him. They attacked him in his stomach and back, he tried to escape during which Kalu attacked him in his back and later accused escaped the spot.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC. Police found that the dispute was over a petty issue in which Nadeem slapped Kalu.
The victim is undergoing treatment at hospital and is under observation. Search has been intensified for the absconding accused who are still at large.
Victim lives near mandi and works with Pooja Engineering work and after work at around 8.30 when he way on his way home Kalu and his aides attacked him. His hands have sustained multiple injuries.
