Prataprudra Beuray, popularly known as Debababu, a renowned social worker of Athagarh, is practising ayurvedic treatment for joining fractured bones of hundreds of patients everyday at his Kulailo-based Anantanarayan Ayurvedic Sevasadan for over three decades.His grandfather Satyabadi Mangaraj had started this treatment at least seventy years ago which was later followed by his father Anantanarayan Beuray.
Being a member of the third generation, Prataprudra started the services by resigning from a State Government job.Hundreds of bone fracture patients from and even outside the State rush to the Anantanarayan Ayurvedic Sevasadan for joining of their broken bones with full confidence. A benevolent, service-oriented person, Debababu is a protagonist of Dhanwantari, Hindu Lord of medicine. Due to his popularity in the field of health, fitness and social services, locals urge Prime Minister Modi to mention his name in his ‘Mann ki Baat’ or refer him for a Padma award.
