The Odisha State Government Employees’ Coordination Committee, Bhubaneswar unit, while supporting the all-India Protest Day on Saturday, submitted a memorandum for CM Naveen Patnaik and PM Narendra Modi with several demands to the ADM here.
The demands include regularisation of jobs of Workcharge, NMR, outsourcing and contractual employees, implementation of the old pension scheme, pay revision every five years, payment of increased DA pending since January 2020 and dues in lieu of leave surrender, release of 50 per cent of arrear of increased salary, stopping sale of nationalized assets like PSUs and Government Departments, controlling price rise, hiking minimum salary to Rs 18,000, paying HR hike money besides uniting secular forces against communalism.
Prasant Kumar Mohanty, Asila Kumar Brahma, Kshetramohan Das, Saroj Nayak, Bijaya Nayak, Akshaya Kumar Jena and Kailash Kumar Behera were preset.
