Marshaghai Block Education Officer(BEO) Satrughna Behera recently conducted an inquiry against a PET teacher of a high school on the allegation of the teacher giving vulgar messages to a class 8 girl student of the school and also making love plea to the minor girl.
The BEO conducted the inquiry by visiting to the school on the direction of the District Education Officer (DEO)Sanjib Singh.
The allegation came to the fore following the victim girl's mother filed a complaint before the headmaster of the school against the PET teacher.
The victim’s mother alleged that the PET teacher used to send vulgar messages to the mobile phone of her daughter, besides appealing for love, several times in last two months.
When she asked the PET teacher, he begged apology and assured not to make such mistake, she told to the headmaster in her complaint.
But after a gap of some days, he once again continued the nuisance, she told.
She also told that the accused even tried once to outrage the modesty of her daughter.
The headmaster later brought the matter to the notice of the DEO. On Friday while the BEO had gone for an inquiry, the accused teacher was not present.
