Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC), Chhavi Ranjan on Tuesday directed officials to expedite the ongoing works under MGNREGA and create maximum man-days under the scheme.
The DC reviewed various schemes under MGNREGA. Ranchi Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Ranchi, Vishal Sagar, Director DRDA, Seema Singh, Project Officer, Deepak Shukla and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Ranjan also directed to complete the pending schemes at the earliest, which were taken up earlier. He also gave necessary directions regarding the participation of women, rejected transactions under MGNREGA.
While reviewing the Mango Horticulture, Didi Bari Yojna, Birsa Green Village Scheme, the DC inquired in detail about the selection and approval of the beneficiaries under the scheme.
Also, taking information about the progress of soak pit construction work in various blocks, he directed the poor performing blocks to expedite the work.
While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ranjan reviewed the pending cases in the last 4 years. He directed all the beneficiaries to ensure the benefits at the earliest. Along with this, while reviewing the schemes under the Sansad Adarsh
Gram Yojana Rurban Mission; the Deputy Commissioner gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
