Terming the statement of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in which he had held the Covid-19 pandemic and winters responsible for increase in the prices of petroleum products and cooking gas as highly irresponsible, the spokesperson of Rajya Andolankari Samman Parishad Mahesh Joshi has said that the minister is misleading the people of the country. He said that the price of every consumer item is at peak at the moment and the general public is reeling under it. Joshi added that the government has no control over the prices and both central and state governments are continuously ignoring the interests of the people.
