Sujata Patra has been appointed as the president of BJD Mahila wing Ganjam district while former vice-president of State BJD Mamata Bisoyi has been appointed as party’s Zone president and she would remain in charge of Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamala, and Boudh districts.
Similarly, former BeMC Mayor K Madhabi has been elevated to the position of State vice-president. Former district president of Mahila wing Sanghamitra Dalai has also been elevated to the position of the State secretary.
"In the upcoming Panchayat and urban body elections, we will strengthen the party under the leadership of the State CM and under the advice of all the MPs and MLAs of the district collectively as a team," Bisoyi said.
