Modi’s Kedarnath visit to be broadcast at 12 sites in U’khand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Kedarnath visit will be broadcast online at the 12 special locations in Uttarakhand on November 5. The Bharatiya Janata Party has made elaborate arrangements to broadcast Modi’s Kedarnath visit at the sites. At the BJP state office on Saturday, the party’s state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam and state general secretary (organisation) Ajey discussed the preparations in detail with the party’s district heads and in-charges. Addressing the party workers, Gautam said that all the BJP office bearers will now have to focus on ensuring the reach of public welfare schemes to the general public. With its transparent governance and welfare scheme, the state government has done considerable work in the interests of the state. These general public has to be informed about these achievements. He opined that the opposition does not have any question or logic which can be put up against the BJP. Gautam said, “The government has enough achievements whereas the opposition has still not been able to answer about the questions raise and scams exposed during its own term in office. All the party cells now have to work to achieve their targets as per the action plan,” said the party’s state in-charge. Speaking at the meeting, Ajey said that Modi’s programme will be viewed at 12 locations where senior ministers, MPs and MLAs will also be present. It will be recalled that Modi will visit Kedarnath on November 5. He will offer prayers at the Kedarnath temple and then unveil Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi and the seer’s statue. The samadhi has been reconstructed after the destruction in the 2013 disaster. The PM will review and inspect the executed and ongoing works along the Saraswati Asthapath and also address a public rally. He will inaugurate key infrastructure projects which have been completed, including Saraswati retaining wall Asthapath and Ghats, Mandakini retaining wall Asthapath, Teerth Purohit houses and Garudchatti bridge on river Mandakini.

The projects have been completed at a cost of over Rs 130 crore.

He will also lay the foundation stone for multiple projects worth over Rs 180 crore, including the redevelopment of Sangam Ghat, first aid and tourist facilitation centre, administration office and hospital, two guest houses, police station, command and control centre, Mandakini Asthapath queue management and rainshelter and Saraswati civic amenity building.
