The MP Nagar police have booked a miscreant who blackmailed a 29-year-old married woman, sexually assaulted her and usurped her gold jewelry from the victim. The accused threatened victim over phone.
Police said that the accused identified as Ritesh Kushwaha used to blackmail her threatening to share details of their relationship with her husband and used to pressurise her to meet.
A complaint was lodged by the victim and according to the police, the victim met the accused two years ago at a marriage in Indore and later he started to contact her over and asked to help financially but victim refused after which accused asked for jewellery which he can use to avail loan.
The victim provided jewelry and in January last year accused came to Bhopal and meet victim at a hotel where he sexually assaulted her and later continued to sexually exploit her during his visits to Bhopal.
