Kumar: Immense possibilities in J’khand for investment

In an attempt to attract investors for the Ranchi Smart City Project from Odisha, Ranchi Municipal Commissioner (RMC), Mukesh Kumar said on Monday that Jharkhand is a State of future and immense possibilities in the Country, so investors willing to invest in various sectors must invest in Ranchi Smart City corporation.

An Investors’ Meet, 2021 was organised in Bhubaneswar to attract investors for Ranchi Smart City Corporation. Speaking on the occasion Kumar urged the investors of other cities of Odisha including Bhubaneswar to invest in Ranchi Smart City.

The Municipal Commissioner further said that all the eminent industrialists of the Country, PSUs of the Central Government, and big institutions of the Country have had a relationship with Jharkhand, because along with the mineral wealth here, the weather and the State Government made business policies very attractive. He said that in the last five years, Jharkhand is standing in the line of first five states in the Ease of Doing Business.

Addressing during the programme, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ranchi Smart City Corporation, Amit Kumar urged the investors of Bhubaneswar to invest in Ranchi Smart City and said that there is a large number of educational institutes for higher education in Bhubaneswar and when we are developing Ranchi as an education hub, then your cooperation is necessary, your experience should contribute significantly in making this city an education hub. It is very sensitive and attractive policies have been made so that investors do not face any inconvenience, he added.

The CEO said the e-auction process in Ranchi Smart City is completely transparent and contactless. Investors sitting in any corner of the Country can participate in the auction for the plot of his or her choice, he added.

“In terms of ease of living, the infrastructure of the city is being developed, which are in the final stages. Keeping in mind transparency in the smart city area, the identified plots for residential, educational, health, commercial, mix use etc. The auction has been made contactless. There is no provision for setting up a polluting industry in this entire area,” said Amit Kumar.

In the programme, General Manager, Ranchi Smart City Corporation, Rakesh Kumar Nandkyeolyar  through a powerpoint presentation, presented the outline of a smart city in front of potential investors working in various fields.  The investors were made aware of every aspect of what is special in Ranchi Smart City through the powerpoint presentation. Investors interested in investing in Smart City also put forward many questions, which were answered by the Municipal Commissioner, the CEO and the GM. Smart City Corporation PRO Amit Kumar was also present in the programme.
